If you collect license plates, there are several clubs for collectors. Listed below are the clubs in which I am a member.
Kansas License Plate Collectors Association
In Kansas, there is an independent club for plate collectors. It was founded in 1969 and currently has around 150 members. The KLPCA holds two meets a year. Typically, the first Sunday in April in Cheney, KS. and the first Sunday in November in Lawrence, KS. The public is welcome. There is no charge to attend. To learn more about KLPCA, go to KLPCA.org.
Automobile License Plate Collectors Association
ALPCA is the oldest and largest club. It was founded in 1954 and has over 3,000 active members from all over the world. ALPCA has many regional groups who host meets all over the U.S. throughout the year. A national meet takes place each summer which attracts around 400-500 members. This is a regional meet of the ALPCA club which means you have to be a member of ALPCA in order to be a member of the Heartland Regional club. Heartland holds an annual meet that rotates locations in the four corner region of Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, & Nebraska.
