If you collect license plates there are several clubs for collectors of license plates.

The oldest and largest club is called A.L.P.C.A. (Automobile License Plate Collectors Association).  It was founded in 1954 and has over 3,000 members from all over the world.  ALPCA has many regional groups who host meets all over the U.S. throughout the year.  A national meet takes place each summer which attracts around 400-500 members.  To learn more about ALPCA go to ALPCA.org

Kansas has it's own club for plate collectors called K.L.P.C.A. (Kansas License Plate Collectors Association).  It was founded in 1969 and currently has around 150 members.  The KLPCA holds two meets a year.  Typically, the first Sunday in April in Cheney, KS. and the first Sunday in November in Lawrence.  However, they have changed for this year. Check the 2021 Event Schedule tab for actual dates.  The public is welcome.  There is no charge to attend.  To learn more about KLPCA go to KLPCA.org
